Hello! Like so many of you – I wear multiple hats, (i.e., wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, etc.). I relish many things – spending time with family and friends; finding humor in the smallest things, eating good food, and relaxing on a swing in the back yard with my hubby. People tell me I laugh a lot – but I have learned through various hardships and victories in life laughter helps – so I laugh wherever I find humor. (Proverbs 17:22). I also love to read the Word of God and listen to various ministries to glean what the Lord reveals to empower, enlighten and encourage.  Understanding the Word of God and searching for and applying the nuggets God provides just makes all of life so much better.  (Proverbs 25:2) I so look forward to laughing, talking, thinking, crying and enjoying life with you on this blog! May God, bless you and keep you…may God’s face shine upon each of you…. (Numbers 6:24 – 26)

Real Love

For GOD so loved the world, that He GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

How often have I failed to recall the magnitude of My Heavenly Father’s sacrificial love for me when I am going through? Alas, countless times have I failed to see His Love.

Unfortunately, I often get in my feelings and fail to IMMERSE my-SELF in His love. (Romans 13:14)

Would that I could walk through life with my natural eyes wide-shut while my ‘spiritual eyes see’ the path He has straightened for my good, because He loves me. I urgently desire to ‘see’ Him and not the troubles I see before me. (Ephesians 1:18, Isaiah 45:2, Romans 8:28, Psalm 121)

I pray that God will quicken me to forget to see what is before me. I pray that He empowers me to wait on Him with joy and patience until He helps me to ‘see’. I know that He watches over me, without fail- I know this. I just have to fight the thoughts which try to convince me otherwise. (II Corinthians 5:7, Colossians 1:11, Psalm 91:11, 2 Corinthians 10:5)

I can admit that I am foolish to EVER doubt Him. I thank God that He knew I was foolish when He called me yet still promises never to leave ‘foolish’ me. (John 1:29, I Corinthians 1:27, Hebrews 13:5)

God gave so much and He asks for so little. (Acts 16:31, Hebrews 11:6) What a Mighty God is He. Thank you Father for loving me (us) so much. (Isaiah 45:5, I Timothy 1:17, Jeremiah 31:3)
